Post news Report RSS We're now recruiting!

We've decided to go to active recruitment in order to improve the size of the mod team.

For the actual recruitment thread, please see this thread on Seriously.

What's happened is that we've gone to active recruitment in order to improve the size of the team. Like mentioned on the recruitment thread, our mod team's cut down to two members, which isn't really practical for future development. In short: WE NEED *YOU* FOR DEATHMATCH PRO! :P

We're currently looking for Testers, Mappers and Coders, and are looking to expand our team by at least 4 additional members from any of these categories. Current development of the mod has been stalled until we gain more members, though we will still try to release additional maps and content.

RECRUITMENT INFO:

As a Tester you don't need any special skills or knowledge of SED2, just playtesting stuff with us will do. You don't have to join every single test session we announce, just pop in once in a while and give us feedback and enjoy what we've created. :)

As a Mapper, you'd be creating various maps for us - mostly DM until we release more gameplay modes, though you can create maps for CTF etc in advance (you can ask me for guidelines if you want to) - and participate in our test sessions like a tester. Good experience with SED2 is recommended. The maps would be created normally in Serious Editor 2 (running in Deathmatch Pro; select "Start in Editor" from the mod launcher).

As a Coder you would basically be a designer of the mod. TwL (Serious Yam) can probably help with this more than me. Basically you'd be coding stuff for us, including new gameplay modes and other features. To be a coder, I think you'd need some C++ experience and (maybe) the SDK.

Everyone interested should private message TwL (Serious Yam) on the Seriously! Forums or private message me via ModDB.

Thanks for showing interest and please help us continue working on this,

-The DM Pro Team
