Join Seekers organization in the pursuit of finding pre-war satellite station "Eye In The Sky" and uncover horrors of the past. Forgotten Russian quest mod with exclusive English translation and my fixes on Moddb.
This mod was created and uploaded by Gerdion way back in 2012 only on one Russian website.
"Eye In The Sky" was supposed to be just 1st chapter in series of new mod quests, but, as original creator also revealed to me - 2nd chapter was mostly completed, but he lost all original files after changing PC. But he gave me full permission not only to translate and adapt, but also change any aspect of this project, depending on my criterias.
Also, please, I will be glad to see your opinions and suggestions in the comment section about improving this Gerdion's project more.
So, as a tradition, more proper description:
WHAT TO EXPECT
..................................................................................
1) Several new quests with few side objectives;
2) Around 2-3 hours to complete all content;
3) You can expect interesting mix of exploration/investigation gameplay which will evolve in intense survival horror experience near the end of the story;
4) Separate custom soundtrack for new locations to adjust mood for every sequence;
5) Very intense battle in the final stage of the quest;
HOW TO INSTALL

Because I got all permissions via e-mails, you just need to download files from this section.
Also I really advise you to download my translated walkthrough (included in archive), because, even though the quest is mostly straightforward, you can get lost with not so polished quest design structure.
1) Place the .esp and other folders in the Data directory of the game
2) Activate the Oko 1.2 ESP file and run the game.
HOW TO START

You need to find Seekers base in the vanilla location - "The Overlook - Drive In". You can find screenshot with this location on the map in the "Images" section.
Also this mod is balanced around high level character (minimum 20, better - 25). Also you need science skill at 100 to progress through one stage of quest.
Don't bring companions because they can break scripts.
WARNING! The final stages of the quest are pretty heavy with large amount of enemies and big locations, so I should warn potential players that don't have very good PC setup.
BUGS AND CONFLICTS

This time I tried to fix most minor issues and clean mod through FO3Edit, so you can expect some floating objects here and there, not very accurate quest arrows and etc. But nothing "game breaking", even though it needs more improvement in the future. I will upload minor "clean ups" and adjustments when I have more time.
But all quests are absolutely playable from start to finish. And if you feel that you definitely stuck at some stage of the quest, don't hesitate to look at walkthrough!
Sadly, but this mod has conflict with my favourite Alien Resurrection Part 1 by JW1 (overlapping doors in Old Olney town, you can try "tcl-ing"), so I suggest to activate and use them separately.
