All new sculpted models and textures for all the major models in the game, I've been working hard to find the best pipeline to backward engineer these models re sculpt and bake all maps. For the weapons I'm trying to stay with the original design and just overhaul the look with crispy details and 4k maps. For the monsters I'm taking more free rein and getting a little more creative.

Not gonna lie this one nearly made me give up there really isn't a lot of geometry there to play and I have to really cheat with fake geometry at impossible angles to get those bakes right and baking it out to these models is a nightmare. However I can use the things I have learnt with each model in the next. Doom models are all over the place UV wise it's quite far from what we do today. The hardware limitations were low back than which is why we can use 4k maps today without any real issue. Hence all models will be remade and 4k bakes for each. I'm using this project as a way back into CGI it's been over 6 years since I have worked in industry I'm rather rusty, this is a good flex of my knowledge.
My goal for weapons is to simply remake them in high Res and decent bakes that look more appealing and correct. The goal with the monsters is make them better I never really liked them, I thought a lot of the sculpts and textures were in readable normal maps were too deep and textures were too low Res. This really will be a bit of a graphical overhaul. Fingers crossed.
This is incredibly high quality stuff, I can't wait for this mod to release.
