As many of you have probably noticed the Sands-of-War site has been down for some weeks now. The same has The Future and let my start out with telling that the two things has nothing to do with each other.
I actually think its quite cool www.thefuture.dk.. It has gone down because I had SoW v.1.1 hosted there. I have unlimited bandwidth there, "massive abuse" are not allowed though. Sands-of-War got downloaded so many times in the days after the release that the hosting company had to suspend my site!
The Defcon Software CEO has until now been paying for the hosting of the SoW site. Unfortunately he has been kicked out by his landlord and therefor is unable to pay for the hosting.
Until he come back, the original SoW site will not come up. I hope he is ok and will be able to come back online soon.
We are working on getting a finding a new host for Sands-of-War. I will make another news post right here on Moddb, when we have found a good host.
www.thefuture.dk should come up again soon(monday). Until the SoW site gets online again, this will be the place for Sands-of-War news.
Notice for players having v.1.1 without hotfix:
You MUST download this hotfix:

It will fix a VERY serious error.
