At long last we are finally putting the finishing touches.
We have held several pre alpha sessions but this was our first with most of the coding done and a real map (instead of just a test map).
The last part of the coding that needs completing is the class selector GUI. We had to use console to change classes. The installer needs to be tweaked and then a few more maps and it looks like the Private mod team Alpha could be held next weekend. We are shooting for a Beta test and at least 6 maps in our map pack two weeks later.
Hoping, perhaps against hope, that we can do a release by Nov.1 or at least before HL2 is out.
