Because when you look out of your eyes in real life, lens dirt is actually a thing, right? Or lens flare for that matter.
well if you're a stalker you would probably be wearing a gas mask.
I don't see a gas mask.
You know that most masks have lenses positioned in such way that you don't see them or they are barely visible when you get used to wearing them. And being in the military/experienced stalker means using those a lot.
