Curse of Orion: Next Encounter
First Person ShooterA bizarre, lengthy, and difficult FPS total conversion campaign mod for the PC version of Red Faction.
Since no one else has really done it, I've started on and will continue work on a full Red Faction HD retexture. I'll be replacing the smaller 256x256 and other textures with high rez, seamless 2048x2048 textures (and maybe higher). I'll be re-doing and retexturing all objects, HUD, weapons, and characters. Some (like text and signs) will be designed from scratch or up-rezzed via vector or some other editing tricks.
That being said, the whole thing runs on the PureFaction mod for enhanced video settings. It's an amazing mod as is so please go check them out at Purefaction.org!
Additional note: For now I'm using the "Carbon Weapons Mods" by user K@oS.UK at factionfiles.com. These will eventually be replaced with my own textures, but for now they're just a stand in for my own edification.
