Welcome to Red Alert 20XX. The aim of this mod is to pay tribute to old Command & Conquer games, while giving YR a fresh feel in a brand new cold war context.
The Mammoth Tank was first introduced in the Second World War. It instantly became an icon of the Soviet might; it inspired fear in the hearts of the enemy and motivated the troops battling at its sides.
For a long time, the Kremlin categorically refused to change the design of the Mammoth Tank, for it was the symbol of a past communist glory. Warfare modernization, however, forced engineers to adapt its capability to new threats, and thus, its look.
Work on a bugfix patch for version 1.0.6a of Red Alert 20XX has started. This patch will make use of the newest Phobos version, including some long awaited functionnalities (yay for helicopters turning to face their target), and fix a few China Challenge bugs.

I have to ask, Lore wise does the Mammoth tank belong to Allies or Soviet?
(in C&C series, its primarily shown to be GDI's main unit who are like Allies)
Lore wise and gameplay wise, it belongs to the Soviet, as their main heavy tank. In RA20XX, the Soviet are modernized version of RA1's Soviet, mostly.

Yes, the Shagohod will receive a makeover too, just like the Apocalypse Tank for that matter. I'll start showing new units once I'm done with the bugfix patch.
