Vaygr Cruiser itself has an upgradeable built-in hyperdrive. But with the help of the Hyperspace Exit Gate it can call in any reinforcements from Strikecraft up to Destroyers for no additional resource cost.
Sound like a cool ability to use.
I want to put a lot of higher levels of strategy that an average player may not care about, but people who think about it can deploy in a very effective fashion. This is one example.
