As part of my remastering project I intend to rework some of the best (and my personal favourites) mods which had released their assets. Tatooine Outpost was one of the mods that impressed me years ago because of it's layout which felt so realistic and believable. BF2 modding has a long tradition and I intend to honour it. Including Improved Sides 212th legion! Tatooine Sandstorm is a simple custom map. Hope you enjoy them!

The map used vanilla models with 212th skins so I thought it would be a good idea to include a taste of the highly anticipated Skin Changer for Improved Sides ( Moddb.com ) while also keeping the original map feel. Tatooine Sandstorm is a custom map currently in beta state. Hope you enjoy them!

When you run out of things to do, you should consider contacting Maveritchell for Conversion Pack assets. Don't have to, but something to think about.

There's a lot of great mods that I wished would be updated. I'm glad to see you doing that!
I am having a great time with these maps and loving the small taste of Improved Sides 2.0 with the 212th, additional CIS units and hero skins. There are a few bugs I'm encountering however which is understandable for a release of this size (some of these are probably known).
Tatooine: Dune Outpost:
-212th Clone Captain lacks a texture for his backpack
-Sniper B1 Droid seems to be using a bugged texture; UV mapping isn't quite right (could be something on my end though I have no other mods installed which would affect that texture)
-Galactic Civil War XL mode crashes
Besides the above I noticed no other bugs. Excellent work!
the guns on all of the 212th units aren't in their boxes
Other than that, pretty good!

On the Tatooine: Dune Outpost map, for some reason the Republic Clone Trooper's Blaster Rifle weapon icon is in the middle of the screen and not in the HUD box like it should be. Other than that though, both maps are really cool and look amazing.
edit: Here is a screenshot of the issue, and from what I can tell, this is the only character affected.

This is superb. It's great to see my old Tatooine map updated for such a great mod as this. The sandcrawler is fantastic.
