Realistic Geonosis
Installation:
Place RE1 folder in "...\Star Wars - Battlefront 2\GameData\addon" Replace older versions if any.
Features:
• Working OG campaign
• New Layout (Open Field as seen in EP2)
• Added accurate Geonosis spire props, BF1 Hangar, and more.
• Added more ATTEs for the Republic and B1 droids + Staps + Jango Fett for the CIS
• Added custom dust, fire and smoke FX.
2021 Update:
Supposedly one of Remasters best addon maps, Realistic Geonosis got a well deserved update. Using some of my newer tricks + the assets from Remastered Geonosis this map really shines now.I uploaded a demo video in my Youtube Channel.Did some edits to the previous layout as well, trying to emphasize it's open battlefield. Some of the things I did were removing one of the caves, using smaller spires within the battlefield, enlargening the map boundaries and adding more objects out of bounds, replacing larger objects in the playable area for less intrusive ones, etc. A good example is the classic CIS "bunker", now converted into a cargo outpost.
• AOTC Styled Hangar.
• Improved terrain textures now with bumpmaps.
• Replaced sky Venators for Acclamators.
• Props and models fixes and improvements.
• Sound fixes.

GREAT MAP MAN! :D IDK why but on sky I see only Acllamators, not Venators :/ Venators looks damm cool...
BTW: I wish to somehow add B1 Droid Marine on every maps. CIS needs some stock B1 :) And great idea you put more than one heroes. This could be good too on all maps (hate to say but EA's chosing heroes idea is one good thing :))
Venators are part of IS 2.0 there not specific to the map

can somebody help me? i already copy paste to the data in my star wars battlefront 2 folder. but everytime i launch it,the game won't launch...
You dont place this in your Data Folder you place it in your addon
right, place in the addon folder inside the GameData folder. strangely, i don't have an addon folder under GameData, in fact, no addon folder for BF2 at all. any thoughts? my copy is from GOG

To be clear, do the changes to the sides make it incompatible with Battlefront Extreme?
The scripts havent been released yet so iam doubtful that any era mod is supported as of yet

Your not supposed to select the Geonosis from the stock game your supposed to select

Awesome! I downloaded it and its spectacular. The only thing I found wrong was Boba Fett and switching weapons.. for some reason his rifle is next to him?
in the HUD? if your useing improved sides thats just a bug that will be fixed thanks for downloading the map
I was wondering how I could get the other realistic maps to work as an addon like you did with this map. I think that would really help.
