This fixes a couple bugs from the previous version.
To install the mod, extract the zip file into the game folder and open the randomizers which are in the mod_rnd2 folder. For detailed instructions check the Readme file included.
v2.61 Changelog:
-Fixed crash caused by a fmv when meeting Annette. The rest have been tested and work fine.
-Fixed issue where generating a seed for Claire would not set the correct footsteps.
-Corrected licker spawn chance for specific rooms where it was higher than intended (for Leon A).
If it's still difficult to progress for any reason you can try playing the B scenarios instead, which I consider have an easier early game in most cases.
-The turntable key was set to spawn only after the medal area (Leon A).
-Fixed dialog rando not working correctly with fixed seeds (Claire A-Leon B).
I've seen people missing items in B scenarios, so I'll give some tips here.
After the Sherry section in rpd, Leon calls Claire and the kennel area and Ben cell become accessible for her, so don't forget to check those areas.
There is also an extra item in the boiler room in the basement, close to the panel.
Using the randomizer i hear the music of the game only on the right speaker... any fix ?
Does it happen with all tracks?
Try disabling stereo sound on the Rebirth configuration.

Not important, but think i found my first seed with a missing item, was the crossbow missing (though annoyingly had a decent amount of bolts drop)
though curiously did find a Beretta pistol, which I don't think I've seen in a rando yet. and had 2 rocket launchers drop (one in the police station, and one in the marshalling yard)

please note, I'm not complaining, just wondered if that was normal behaviour and if not just wanted to give a little heads up. after finishing my run did take a peek at the log, and unless im mistaken from back in my ps1 gameshark days, didn't see the crossbow anywhere in the seedlist (from memory crossbow should be hex 09 right?)
honestly duke, i love your randomizer, its a lot more user-friendly than the biorand one (which ive had no end of troubles either getting it to run or getting malware warnings) whereas yours just works great. i saw your patreon post about taking up writing if you decide to give up on your randos, and whilst it will be a bit of a disappointment, i wish you the best in whatever you choose to do.
Though if you do keep working on your rando stuff, a enemy slider would be nice if its possible, sometimes im in a masochistic mood and just want to deal with a combat heavy run rather than my usual ducking an weaving.

I don't have the source code at the moment to check what happened with the Crossbow, and I'm lacking time to do it too.
If I eventually come back to it, I will make the necessary fixes and also fix the crash at Leon B. To prevent this, just avoid entering the MO Disk room in the meantime.
Oh by the way... I really appreciate the fact that you mention the thing with the Rando interface... while some people may like all the extra options, I prefer myself simple interfaces, so it's good to have at least different options here...
In the future I may make it easier to access to the game copies and everything, which are already easy to find if you do a quick search.
Until Capcom don't sell themselves the copies, there aren't much options available...
I've spent hours trying to figure out how to make this work. I know it's simple but I just have no idea what to do to make it work. I would be eternally grateful if anyone was able to help? I'm very game and tech savvy just not familiar fully with things like this LOL.
