In a disturbing display of their Psychic technology, the Soviet Union has captured the city of New York under the influence of a Beacon. Not yet aware of what this device does, the US military dispatches a small team to investigate the city's sudden radio silence.
Could this mission have a timer until the commanders team is mind controlled, mirroring the original mission?
I like the premise, but since the Americans don't know how the Psychic Beacon works yet, they wouldn't be able to predict how long that could take. That will appear in future missions though.
Interesting how you played this very straight to the point/objective. No exposition. Almost a speedrun.
