Promod 3.0 is the first class-based mod for Jedi Knight 2: Jedi Outcast. Its skill-point system allows you to customize your player character with either Gunnery and Equipment, Force Power skills, or any combination of the two! Go full-bore Gunner to gain access to the all-new dual thruster jetpack that allows you to fly to places previously unreachable in a manner similar to that of the Tribes 2 jetpack. Whether it's Gunner vs. Jedi, Gunner vs. Gunner, or Jedi vs. Jedi, you can expect a well-balanced, polished playing experience in either one-on-one or team-based combat. The rich new saber combat system ensures that all lightsaber duels are decided purely on the basis of player skill, with all randomly generated outcomes having been removed. The Force Powers have been adjusted so that Powers previously deemed too weak to be useful, such as Protection and Mind Trick are now comparable in strength to their more potent siblings. Promod 3.0 IS the evolution of Star Wars combat!

I've been working on Beta 3 quite a bit lately, and if things proceed at the current rate, I'm looking to release it sometime on Friday the 25th of this month.

STUFF THAT'S DONE:
- New RGB Sabers that allow you to adjust the color in-game through the player setup menu, complete with real-time preview graphics.

- Sabers have new artwork that makes them resemble the sabers from Episode 2.

- All bugs from the previous version have been fixed.

- New Saber Stance Trumping system gives each stance an advantage against one of the other stances, but a penalty versus the other. Blue trumps Yellow trumps Red trumps Blue. This will make it advantageous to switch stances often.

- 45-degree attack-chaining requirement for Red stance has been removed. This gives the Red stance a much-needed combat effectiveness boost. You can chain any three Red swings together now.

- Bonus meters are super-crisp and clear now at any detail level.

- Duel spectators' comments can now be seen by both duellists. Spectators can also call votes.

- other little stuff...

LEFT TO DO:
- Saber vs. Guns balance system - god, this is gonna be complicated for me to write, but easy for you guys to use. :]

- New Neutral Force Power - I hope I'll have time to get this into the game before the release. I just don't know for sure yet.

Not going to be getting much sleep for a while...
