Welcome to Project Reality: Battlefield 2 (aka PR:BF2), a free to download game modification for the Battlefield 2 (aka BF2) retail Windows PC game. The focus of this mod is to rework the original game engine developed by Digital Illusions of Sweden (Dice) within legal and feasible constraints to create a more realistic combat environment for the gaming community. This includes adjusting various game play elements including physics, visual effects and overall game play formats. Along with changes to how the game handles, the Project Reality team has been introducing British, Insurgent, IDF forces, Canadian, and Russian factions, plus a number of community assisted factions are currently in the works to introduce even more factions to the virtual battlefields. This Mod is not for the masses, due to the fact that it has a much higher learning curve then your classic arcade game. This is the real deal.

Description
Project Reality: BF2 v0.97 is a patch release focused on fixing issues with the PR:BF2 v0.96. In this patch, we have strived to fix and tweak as many aspects of the game as possible to creating the most realistic, team oriented, online gaming experience available on the PC.
Project Reality: BF2 v0.97 Full client is made up of three files, all of which must to be downloaded and installed in order to play the mod:
- Project Reality: BF2 v0.97 Full (Part 1 of 3)
- Project Reality: BF2 v0.97 Full (Part 2 of 3)
- Project Reality: BF2 v0.97 Full (Part 3 of 3)
If you currently have PR:BF2 v0.96 installed, you only need to download the Project Reality: BF2 v0.96 to v0.97 Patch.
***Note: Battlefield 2 v1.5 is required.

A while ago there was a SP map pack, is that included now?
i tried to play single player after this MASSIVE download but single player option does nothing :(
Fix it, can anybody tell me how to get the pilots kit,on single player?

Its stupid that this cannot be played in single player with bots in your team.You have to fight alone against enemy bots.You only can have team with players online.i dont know if the update done that.Last time i played this i think was two years ago i played with bots in my team against other bots.FIX THAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!there is people that not like this mod because that.Please fix that.
Singleplayer works fine. just increase the bots in the defaultai file in the game data folder.
Setup gives me the version error please help .
