Welcome to Project Reality: Battlefield 2 (aka PR:BF2), a free to download game modification for the Battlefield 2 (aka BF2) retail Windows PC game. The focus of this mod is to rework the original game engine developed by Digital Illusions of Sweden (Dice) within legal and feasible constraints to create a more realistic combat environment for the gaming community. This includes adjusting various game play elements including physics, visual effects and overall game play formats. Along with changes to how the game handles, the Project Reality team has been introducing British, Insurgent, IDF forces, Canadian, and Russian factions, plus a number of community assisted factions are currently in the works to introduce even more factions to the virtual battlefields. This Mod is not for the masses, due to the fact that it has a much higher learning curve then your classic arcade game. This is the real deal.

This map pack release is a full-featured map pack including 4 brand new maps and 3 old favorites to help you celebrate the holiday season. These maps are a preview of what is to come in PR:BF2's next release, v1.0, anticipated to arrive later in 2012.

The following brand new maps are included in the map pack:
- Black Gold (4km)
- Operation Marlin (2km)
- Pavlovsk Bay (4km)
- Vadso City (4km)
In addition to these 4 new maps, the following previously released Project Reality: BF2 maps will be making a return, updated and overhauled for the current version of PR:BF2:
- Assault On Mestia (1km)
- Operation Ghost Train (1km)
- Tad Sae Offensive (1km)

Are there any maps for COOP in there?
currently the maps are just multiplayer *maybe* in the future they will be navmeshed to allow for SP/Coop games.

When I'm trying to install it, it says that I need PR installed. But it is installed.
try adding bf2 and pr reg files

none of the mirrors for desura will download, and i have steam version, so for some unholy reason pr diddnt install to that, somehow desura has it but my steam install is clean 0.0
I downloaded the file.
But I can't install it.
The program says I already have the version/file ... .
But I don't have the maps, I can't play them.
How to install the addon / mappack?
