xPatch's main goal is to fix the lingering issues found in the latest official patch, it also offers various gameplay improvements, including rebalanced weapons and QOL features, improved animations, effects and texture fixes. Most of the gameplay and visual changes can be toggled in the xPatch Options menu in-game.

Yeah, it got updated the same day I've posted beta 4 on ModDB though P2 Workshop is clunky so in most cases you'll need to unsubscribe, purge workshop in game options and subscribe again to correctly update the mod.
Where do i put this in the game files. I dont see any instructions
It's a 7zip package you need a 7zip or WinRAR program to unpack it. There is a ReadMe file with instructions in that package.
can i still get achievements with this installed

is this an clean update of i do need the old version already installed? (trying to re install gog p2 (awp, pl, share the pain, etc)
It's the full version of xPatch, no need for the old version to be installed.
