Old version. Patch notes for this version can be found at the description.
Hey everyone!
I would like to tell you all that, after a very long wait and many promises, PCM II 2.0, the “final version” of PCM II, is finnally out! Besides of fixing all of the bugs that have been reported since the release of 1.9, this is going to the the first update of PCM II which is going to feature a completely new civ: this time, The Navarrese!
The outline of the new Navarrese civilization:
The Navarrese
Bonuses:
- Spearmen, Pikemen and Halberdiers have +1 range
- Starting at Feudal, all units (except siege and ships) regenerate at a slow rate
- All villagers work 7% faster
- Team Bonus: Mercenaries cost -5% gold
Tech Tree (disabled technologies/units):
- Archery Range: Imperial Skirmisher, Arquebusier, Parthian Tactics
- Stable: Bloodlines, Hussar, Paladin
- Monastery: Sanctity, Atonement, Block Printing, Herbal Medicine
- Siege Workshop: Heavy Scorpion
- Blacksmith: Plate Barding Armor
- University: Heated Shot, Bombard Tower, Artillery Officers
- Mining Camp: Gold Shaft Mining, Stone Shaft Mining
- Market: Guilds
- Mill: Fertilizers
- Trade Workshop: Drill Pikemen
- Dock: Elite Cannon Galleon, Shipwright
Unique Unit:
- Basque Crossbowman: An armored archer that deals extra damage against other ranged units
Unique Tecnology:
- Fueros: Villagers are enabled at drop-off point buildings
Besides of adding a completely new civilization, this update also adds a new “virtual” age: Nomad! When selecting “Nomad” as your starting age, you will start in Dark Age with a Packed Town Center, instead of a “normal” Town Center! Will you just unpack and build up right away, or search for a better place to settle before doing anything else? The choice is in your hands! Thanks to JustTesting1234, from AoKH, for providing the needed code for this feature.
Also, Asian civs have two more mercenary choices in the Imperial Age: Ronins and Arsonists! Thanks to Achesun, from AoKH, for providing the graphics for those units! And, as usual, more details can be found in the Changelog, which is in the readme.
Last but not least, you guys might have noticed that I said that this is the first update of PCM II to feature a new civ. You might be surely wondering now if this means that new civs will come in later patches… And yes, it does! We are not going to stop in the 5 civs mark! Stay tuned ^^
What are you waiting for? Download it! :D
For me it starts in windowed mode. is there a way to make it full screen?
Hey kucsidave!
To make it run in fullscreen, just go to the AoKTC installation where you installed PCM II. There, you'll find a "bpcm" folder: open that folder and delete the "wndmode.dll" file which is there. After that, you'll be able to play completely in Full Screen!
To avoid that from happening in eventual future updates, uncheck the "Windowed mode .dll" option in the "Components" screen in the installer while installing PCM II.
I hope I helped you ^^

Daniel Pereira
Thank you
No problem ^^
Tells me that api-ms-win-crt-runtime-l1-1-0.dll is missing from my computer.
And after that it tells me AgePatch.dll failed to load. Know a fix?
Hey Ironclad2014!
This happens because of the lack of Visual C++ 2015 Redistributable in your Windows installation, which is required by the AgePatch.dll (the .dll that handles the 5th age stuff). The installer was supposed to install it automatically, but I think that it didn't do so because of the lack of some windows updates, which are required by VC++ 2015 redist.
What I would recommend you to do is to go to the Windows Update in the Windows Control Panel and install all of the latest updates. Then download VC++ 2015 Redist from here:
Microsoft.com
After that, PCM II will surely work as a charm!
I hope I helped you ^^
Best regards,
Daniel Pereira
