It's just a prop_dynamic, which uses different animations. Like in Portal Stories Mel :)

Someone said to me the textures degrate if you use prop_dynamic instead of the general npc entity (which does not work in portal 2, damn you valve). Is it true?
I don't know exactly, but for me the textures are not much worse than in HL2.
