Welcome to another PoE update! Just a reminder that the big day will be Sat Aug 26th. But in the run up to the weekend we continue our media blitz filled with unseen ingame content, server files release, torrent release and other events occuring this such as an IRC chat interview with the testers and developers of the mod, and FragTV action all headed your way in the coming days along with TONS of new media updates that will be posted in our Interactive Developer forums.

All week long we will be showing off lots of random ingame screenshots taken by our testers, these will be displayed in the interactive section of our forums. We invite our fans to register on the site and check those out.

Today we will have both linux and windows files available. We want to get these out so servers have plenty of time to get those servers set up and be ready for the big release day. We have recently created a new forum section called Server Support where you can ask any questions you may have about the server files or the new launcher.

On Thursday, the client files will be released on a Hypernia supported torrent. These files will be password protected but once Saturdays release comes, you will already have the setup on your desktop and wont be stuck waiting in line to download the mod.

Friday there will be a PoE Dev and Tester chat with fans in our IRC channel at 8pm EST. We will be on hand to answer questions and talk about the mod with our fans.

Then of course Saturday is the big day and we invite all our fans to come celebrate on IRC with us.

For todays news, we had the pleasure of having Narco and Schetter from FragTV play on out test server last night with several of the developers and testers, this gameplay was also broadcast live via FragTV which created alot of buzz in the IRc channels, however if you missed that you can checkout the archive footage of our little battle on the map "Fallen" below.

In anticipation of PoE match play we have also created a channel for clans to find and organise scrims against each other, the channel for this is #findscrimpoe

We're not quite done yet as we have yet another video to show to you, this time it is a demonstration of the new artillery system that will be available in Point of Existence 2, here you will find out the true purpose of the binoculars and the TACCOM radio!
