News Update #48 - Point of Existence: 2 mod for Battlefield 2

With News #48, we would like to begin by saying “Thanks” to our mod community for the support that everyone provides to our team. Since our forum disaster two weeks ago we’ve had 465 users register on our new forums and have made over 8,500 posts. If you look at Frag4fun.com “BF2 Top Sites” located at Toplists.frag4fun.com, we have had over 2,000 votes as one of the top sites with over 1.5 million hits to our website since we were added about 6 months ago. Looking at the stats like that is a motivator to our staff to make the best mod for the BF:2 community.

With stating that, let’s begin with our “eye candy” for the week. First render to showcase this week is the “Eurocopter Tiger"which will be flown by Germany. You will notice that the render supports different configurations including the 30mm gun turret in the front that the Germans have decided to add to the aircraft recently. We are providing the “Tiger” with different armament for some game play variance. The model was developed by “Senor Freebie” and the skin was completed by “Devil” who is back from his honeymoon.

Usually we will show a vehicles render one week and in game shots a week later but the team has been working hard so we decided to showcase “KCT” first official model which is the MT-LB armored personnel carrier. Both “Spitfire” and “Geledonutt” assisted with providing the skin for it.

For the weekly map updates, we would like to showcase more of the night map that Greasy Mullet is developing. Within the screenshots, we have static’s being shown that "Jilted", "Devil", & "D_Fast" have developed.
