Plasma is an upcoming Open-Source project for Half-Life 1. This mod is basically what we (I mean FPDream Software when I say 'we') call a "Major HL Improvement", although Plasma has a touch of TC (Total Conversion) in it, it still can be used to create HL based maps. The Source Code is based both on Laurie Cheer's Spirit of Half-Life 1.5a4 and SysOp's HL:Arrangement. Like with SOHL, we're looking forward to make Plasma's OS code a base for people to start their own mods. Most Models, sounds, sprites, etc... have been improved to guarantee 100% pure satisfaction. Unlike Half-Life, Plasma is organized to help modders to have a better feel on the game... FULL VIEW!!!

Yes, that's right, plasma will probably be deleted in a few days, download while you can (which i doubt anyone will do), Rmatt is tyred of working on plasma, he hates plasma, so, this is the last news you'll hear about plasma. Plasma started as an to ambitious stand alone game, the became a mod, and then it started using shit loads of content which wasn't ours, although we had fun creating plasma, you didn't enjoyed playing, and that opened Rmatt's eyes, goodnight everyone.

Well I can understand your guys' decision for doing this, but are you sure you aren't quitting too soon? Just because you took a lot of content that wasn't yours doesn't mean that you can't eventually add your own. The release beta alpha you released was probably released way too soon, when the mod did not have enough. That is why people didn't enjoy it. I obviously did enjoy it to an extent, and I realize that this mod has some great potential, otherwise I wouldn't bother posting here.
I had a good moment while mapping Plasma.

this mod has very great potential...but like i and i think everyone has said..it just needs more custom content..sad to see this mod die :(...
