I would just like to adress the confusion that people seem to have involving the release/download.
There are 3 things a multiplayer persistent mod needs:
- Mod
- Server
- Map
The mod is finished ( at least the basic release version ) , and the server is sorted.
However, to be able to actualy play on a RELEVANT map, we need to create a whole new map, which is what we are currently doing.
So is the mod playable?
No, untill the map is finished it is NOT.
So why is there a download avaiable on your website already?
I have simply used the website to upload the current version/patches of the mod, to show curious admins/friends the progress on the map on our password protected server.
You can download this mod, but chances are high I will change things before release.
Which means you download it for no reason, and will have to redownload as soon as the mod is up and running.
How much longer is going to take for you to release the mod?
The things that are left to do, is finish the map and have a small béta test to make sure everything works properly.
This could take a few weeks, a month or with some bad luck even longer.
I will anounce a release date as soon as I have one.
So is the mod for [S]-play or [M]-play or both? :O
