Out Of Earth - January '09 Update

The mod is going well I must say and various new parts have been added to the mod. For example many people may have seen these new screenshots!
This is one of the levels going to be featured in the demo which is based in a Water Factory.

But as I mentioned, in the December '08 update, the Breen skin was being designed. Well here it is, a new design for the Combine Administrator of City 15 (Using Breen Model). Effects include phong shading and bump mapping.

To the left was what the Breen model was in December. To the right is the new update in January '09.

A new update included is the new strider skin. This is being used to make the Strider appear more urban but however still keep a synth like quality.

Many saw the new hunter skin in very early screens when the mod first started production. Here is a much clearer shot of what the new hunter is like.


The Demo
As you can see, the progress on the mod is going very good but timing the demo's release will be tricky. It is most likely between late January or Early/Late February. So keep an eye out for the demo's update on a more specific demo release date.
