ORION - MEDIA WEEK
DAY 2 / WEEK 1
As promised! We are back with Day 2 of the media barrage! With this update we unleash twelve brand new in-game shots of Orion Source Multiplayer Beta 1.2. It showcases plenty of the new environemnts as well as some of the old favorites making their return with optimizations and tweaks.
Tomorrow is going to be a unique media release. It is going to be our official soundtrack (Volume 1.0) which is a collection of our music (23 tracks to be exact) through a combination of three of our artists: Marcus Zuhr, Ben Gaskell and Uncle Bob. Volume 2.0 is currently under production.

Unfortunately I had a bad experience with this game =(. The first day I DLed it, I couldn't connect to any servers, had to delete client registry .blob or something like that, then, the servers had very few people with a good ping (from Canada)... So to be honest, I didn't experience the full potential of this mod =(... Anyone can tell me a brief explaination of what is the difference between this and Neotokyo for example? Thanks
It plays kinda like Crysis's multiplayer except without the armor modes and it doesn't suck.

We will have ten servers up provided by us, and more to come - as well as any that the fans throw up.. I already know a few who are going to.

I don't really think you can compare NeoTokyo and Orion - very different games. NeoTokyo is a slower paced game, with more restricted player movement. There is a good element of required team work to get things done, which also transfers over to Orion. However, Orion is a very fast paced game that enforces team work to complete the objective. It has weapon mechanics that were inspired by the original Counter-Strike (was a hardcore gamer wayy back in the day when it was still in betas), and some of the coolest maps.
