This mod is being made for those who love stargate and would like an rpg game from it, it is not a total conversion, but just a small mod which adds the ability to travel to different worlds through a stargate placed somewhere in Cyrodill.
Ok, first of all, since Id really like this released sooner rather than later, Im getting as many people as I can to create new world spaces, as the Stargates will be able to travel to multiple areas, I need as many as I can get, and I dont have the time or skills with the construction set to create them myself...
Ok, first of all, since Id really like this released sooner rather than later, Im getting as many people as I can to create new world spaces, as the Stargates will be able to travel to multiple areas, I need as many as I can get, and I dont have the time or skills with the construction set to create them myself.
The minimum I need for each world is at least 1 village, a place for the stargate to go, interiors for the buildings, and for it not to connect to any other worldspaces, such as Tamriel. The one exception to the connection to another worldspace is if you can travel to a local moon to that world through a teleport or something similar.
The worldspaces MUST NOT use anything from any Official DLC such as The Orrery or The Shivering Isles. The only way they can use any custom content is if either you have made it or it is from a modders rescource.
NPC's are optional, add them if you know how, if you dont want to its fine, Il do it later, if you do then make sure you give them sensible names, Il be checking for anything like that. You can also add quests if you know how, and again, sensible ones.
Anyone who wants to do this can upload to the "Downloads" section. If you are going to then please PM me as soon as you can and let me know, also if you have any questions PM me as well.
Since 2002 we have explored, played and enjoyed mods of all shapes and sizes just like Operation Sci-Fi: Oblivion. We love games like Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion that have opened themselves up to modding. Because of communities like Workshop, Nexus, Curse, RTSL, GameBanana and Mod DB, more games support modding today than ever before.
Let's celebrate modding
As mods play a bigger role in the future of gaming, we believe it is important to recognize the effort the teams behind the work put in, giving us countless hours of enjoyment while asking nothing in return. We have the power to change our games and that needs to be celebrated to ensure it remains a big part of PC gaming's future.
It all started
In 2015, when the paid modding dispute left many gamers and modders worried about the direction the industry is headed. Things have since settled down, but we believe it is important to continue this small tradition to show we are not alone in our love for mods, and the open platforms that embrace them.
Mod Appreciation Week
Nothing is more motivating than knowing something you've built is being enjoyed by others. So this week if there is a mod you love on Mod DB (or anywhere else), make the effort to shout out to them, mention and link their mod in a tweet, blog, forum or facebook post with the hashtag #modlove2016 (or click the icons above for a pre-built post).
