This mod is being made for those who love stargate and would like an rpg game from it, it is not a total conversion, but just a small mod which adds the ability to travel to different worlds through a stargate placed somewhere in Cyrodill.
Since Ive been getting everyone confused and even myself for a bit, Ive decided to clear up a few things. First of all, this mod will be spread accross BOTH Oblivion and Fallout 3, since both games use the same modding abilities roughly, and both have a good setting for the mod. The mod will be primarily being worked on with Oblivion first as its the less buggy one with me at the moment, Fallout 3 will be worked on in the time after Oblivion and maybe during the times when I can do anything....

Since Ive been getting everyone confused and even myself for a bit, Ive decided to clear up a few things. First of all, this mod will be spread accross BOTH Oblivion and Fallout 3, since both games use the same modding abilities roughly, and both have a good setting for the mod. The mod will be primarily being worked on with Oblivion first as its the less buggy one with me at the moment, Fallout 3 will be worked on in the time after Oblivion and maybe during the times when I can do anything with Oblivion. The Oblivion version will be very defferent in the way of story, since the setting will be farms and small medievil towns and villages with knights etc, you will play the role of a random person passing by and playing with the buttons because they make the lights light up and the ring spin with noises, when you somehow manage to work out that the symbols are star constellations and begin to find a working order blah blah blah, you find one that works and it opens the gate leading to another planet where you unluckily run into a bunch of Goa'uld that decide you are now a new toy to chase. I havent decided the rest of the story but il refine it and stuff so its better, no voice acting will be in the game UNLESS some idiot actually wants to speak my ridiculous storys script into a microphone lol. Of course the goa'uld will be nowhere near as advanced as in the series as Oblivion is very limited as to weapons etc. When it comes to buildings it will be likely there will be no new models etc.The Fallout 3 version will be a case of you finding an underground bunker with notes and a book filled with lines with 6 symbols on each line and a name beside each one, you see one which has been circled and decide to dial it into the odd device in the middle of the room, as you start, the wall infront of you opens and a large ring is standing against the wall (the stargate) when it opens you go through and find a farmworld, similar to Oblivions setting and speak to people trying to find out where the hell you are, you eventually see a group of people wearing odd armour (probably just going to be retextured power armour) who turn out came through the gate and couldnt get back, they then decided to be the dominant power of the planet. You have to take them down and rebuild the villages which were raided by them etc, saving the day and everyone on the world OR you have the option to join them and work up the ranks to leader THEN change the way the organisation works by making them rebuild and help the people or destroy the world bit by bit. Any option you choose you can change the world immensly. There will be nothing stopping you from creating your own worlds to add-on to both of my mods, id just prefer it if you told me about them so I can post them here and merge them with the main mod if they make sense and are good enough quality ( in other words have at least one building, and a city-sized worldspace if its an exterior, with interiors for each building. Or if its just an interior, like a cave or underground base, or an alien ship then id expect at least several rooms connected to eachother properly). The Gate itself I have not decided which model I will be using, it will NOT be the one from the Morrowind mod, I can currently just make the mod using a mages portal as a place-holder till I can get a hold of a decent model. Let me know which gate you would like to see (Earth or Atlantis style) in the mod through the Forums which I will be opening for the mod after I post this and make the necissary changes to the main section.
