When the Nova labs were destroyed they were done so by a mysterious fire, the cause of which wasn't explained. Perhaps an opposing group against WAR decided to destroy the place and took the Nova plans for themselves before destroying it, all while the 2097 tournament took place. The group of which who did and for what purpose they stole the plans, god only knows. Iron Fist? A WAR splinter group? Someone else?

Well people have been asking what are the stats, and what they do.

Each HAR and pilot has stats set in stone. These stats are: Speed, Attack, and Defense. The Pilots stats totaled together must equal 180, and one Stat must not be, or over 100. Same goes with HARs.

Let’s take Jaguar for an example:
Speed: 70
Attack: 50
Defense: 60
----------------------------------------
Ok, now let’s make up our random pilot:
Speed: 40
Attack: 70
Defense: 70
------------------------------------------
As you see, the Pilot is more of a "turtle", which will give the Jaguar:
Speed: 110
Attack: 120
Defense: 130
-------------------------------------
In turn, the Jaguar will not fare well in battle, for it is a Speed HAR, and the Pilot is a “turtle”

I didn't get this at first untill I remembered one must fall battle grounds. Well I hope you guys can make the movement more fluid then in the last game.

Don't worry. OMF: Destiny does NOT even play like Battlegrounds. It will play like modern fighting games. 2.5D fighting. And thanks!

Heh. That's kinda amusing. Battlegrounds was more of a 'future' fighter, rather than a 'modern' one, is how I would put it.
I don't know if anyone's yet managed to create a successful true-three-dimensional fighter.
