Did you know that Northern Conflict celebrated its birthday recently? In April 2006, some Norwegians started modding a mini-mod to a BF2-movie. That movie has not been released yet, because the development never ended. The mod and crew has grown, and results so far are great. I believe that no one expected NC to become this in April 2006!
Both Sweden and Norway are now receiving their brand new NH Industries NH90 helicopters. Both countries will use the NFH-version (NATO Frigate helicopter). Sweden receives the TTH-version (Tactical Transport Helicopter) too, and Norway might buy some of these in addition to their NFH and Bells. Here they are:
The planes in Northern Conflict will be equipped with different configurations of weapons, depending on their role in the battlefield. Our expert modeller, Choff, has made a short movie that shows the development stages of the F-16, from blueprint to skinned model. It includes the finished Danish and Norwegian versions as well.

The Saab SK-60 is today used as a recognizance, weather control and trainer aircraft within the Swedish Air Force. In an armed conflict, it might likely be used as a anti-ground aircraft in addition to the Gripen. It is armed with dual 30mm Aden gun pods and eight simultaneously launched Bofors M70 135mm unguided anti-surface rockets. We will include two versions, one with an elongated nose to fit recon cameras inside.
Finally, some ingame screens of the fully working Gripen with its new weapons!
We wanted to show you some more ingame action as well, but unfortunately this has been delayed to the next update. This is a busy time of year and we also got some minor coding problems which we want to fix first. But we promise, NEXT TIME!
