I like present our modyfication to the game Earth2160 created by polish studio Reality Pump. The NEP(New Earth Project- working title of the mod), is focused in bringing old units , atmosfere and that specific feel of older games created in Earth universe(like Earth 2140 , 2150 , the moon project , etc). But not only that. It is also some kind of experiment with is focused in showing what can be done in RTS games. Mod features: - New/old units from others game series, like Tiger for UCS , LBT(Pamir) for ED or cruscher for LC - Improved Fx - New maps created especially for this MOD(Also graphically improved) - Completely new gameplay. - New much clearer research system (Now you know waht you are researching.) - Diffrent build system for specific races. - Completely new reworked aliens, with much better morphing system(Morphoid player now “tech” like other nations...) - Old/New wepons technologies , with behave like as the ones from older games from this series . - Completely reworked a

Very important message for level designers! Units in NEP will have new shorter ID names. We needed it because old names were to long and game was to slow.

Very important message for level designers!

Units in NEP will have new shorter ID names. We needed it because old names were to long and game was to slow.

Now weapon names in IDName are moved to beginning of the word, because the compare function works faster if faster finds different letter . For example:

Old names:

ED_PAMIR_RA
ED_PAMIR_PC
ED_PAMIR_J
ED_PAMIR_L

New names:

E_R_PAMIR
E_C_PAMIR
E_J_PAMIR
E_L_PAMIR

We must change many scripts and maps.

Units placed on maps in old version of NEP will disappear in new version.

Buildings and fleet will works normaly.

Patch 1.3.8 is necessary to play New Earth Project.

Without it units can't leave the factory.

even i do, stuck on ed mission all against all. nice game didnt think too many people play this
