maybe the minimap should be smaller. or square
no, have been long time i want to remove map. just if i know how...
just remove the minimap on the HudSetup?
no so that easy. this is not like yo do vehicle hud. if i remove hudsetupmap, it'll remove bars, progress, etc. and, when yu just start game, it'll crash.
basic hud node it's a bit different with vehicle. in basic, if you delete node template, it'll crash when you start.
i not so know about veh hud. but i know it's different
Well, i guess you deleted the wrong thing. If you want to remove the minimap completely (and other stuff like ticket bar and the Flag Capture progress bar) just remove open the HudSetupSpawnInterface.con and remove the "run HudElementsMap.con" so it doesn't read the minimap hud.
i want to keep other stuff, just remove minimap. anyway, i already done it. i'll pm teh image
Oh, nice then. Anyway it's the same with VehicleHuds. Hudsetups are all Hudsetups. The VehicleBasic also use other hudelements.
But thanks for removing the map anyway. it's always annoying for me.
what i mean is, basic hud layers based on a strange file or node template i say, inside menu_server. minimap, basically use template ingame. otherwise, vehicle doesn't have basic hud template. they just create node without based on node template
and lol, i hate that minimap too :p
