Very fast and much more resistant than a witch, she can throw som kind of glue to slow down survivors and then attack them with her poison claws...
Poisonned Survivors will have to reach the saferoom quickely before the poison kills them...

"Poisoned survivors needs to be quick" is generaly a stupid idea. That is the goal of Left4Dead, to work as a team, because if you rush foward, you are going to go down fast. I suggest the poison to work like in Diablo 2: Drains health, but disapear in time, or Drains health and the survivor needs to be healed in order to cure the poison.
ya i agree with him great idea but make the poison drain ur health for a while then make it go away or your screwed

What about using pills to cure poison? Coz if ya got poisoned at start of level - you'll die easy.

Those concepts are my first one...and they need to be perfected...
I will just say that creating new monsters for L4D is for one essential reason : making it more difficult...
I know that being "quick" may not be the best way to survive in the game, that's the reason why i think a monster should force survivors in some kind of rush...because I also think it's too easy, even in expert mode, to put your back on a wall or hidding in bathroom and just waiting for the horde...don't your think??
Anyway, you don't have to be worried about the poison if you don't let her touch you...easy, hu?? ;))
Pills or medpack should slow the poison progress...but the cure is in the safe room^^ hope you won't mind...
I don't really see this happening in the L4D universe. Looks more like pain killer/Doom.

Why not? L4D universe is not very precise on its story, so we can fill the blanks as we want...on my point of view.
Super zombies or extremly mutated monsters also exist
in games universe like resident evil, stalker...etc...
I'm just intenting to create new monsters that could break the
L4D's game rythme that may become a little boring
for people who play a lot...

A suggestion, It should only gradually take away about 40 units of health before it wears off, or, it gradually takes away all the health until it reaches 10 and says "Next knockdown means death" but a MedKit can get rid of the posion and pills can slow it down.
The poison should probably just slow you down. I mean, even if it's a boss infectee, it would make the game impossible if it drained all your hp and you were almost at the end of the map. Also, if it has glue to throw at ya to slow you down, as it already is pretty quick, it would make the game near impossible. Perhaps it would be cool if the poison really disoriented you and made change some models or blurred vision, perhaps a horrible accuracy-loss with a sticky trigger because you'd get so drugged down :p
