The first version is already out!

There are the following innovations:

- Ported all maps
- Menu fully customized
- Chapter system improved

Known issues:

- Possible bugs with v_models of weapons

-Func_door problem in the map "1" (should be fixed in future)

I remember how scary it was for me to play this mod the first time, i also was very young, this will be great to experience this back but in source. Porting doesn't seem easy, so you did good job for doing that! As i can see you didn't change the textures, and honestly i don't mind if you don't it will still be good. But i was wondering i you planned or not change them. Cause if not i was thinking i could upscale the textures with the Ai gigapixel program i have. Technically i would use it for my personal use, but if you'd like to post it as a optional mod you could.

Hello. At the moment I can't do texture upscaling. If you want to do it yourself, you can publish it as an addon for m.:s. I will only be glad :)

Okay so i had time to do my upscale for this mod yesterday lmao! I was about to start testing when i realised the custom folder dosent seems to work.. ive worked with many source games and custom folder and it always worked, maybe it has something to do with it beeing standalone i have no idea tbh haha. I also tried to put the materials folder directly in the mistake folder, both didnt work and im not sure why. I might try to find another way to make it work but for now idk.

In the new version, I disabled the .vpk archives, maybe this will help. Also, if you don't mind, send me these textures and i will try to fix them.

I guess this version isnt out yet. Also, sound good but i dont know if the textures are displaying fine , for that kind of work i always do a couples run of the game to fix what i see. Anyway here is the non tested files, its big around 7-8 gb extracted : Drive.google.com

I checked your textures.
If you have problems enabling them.
Here's a little solution.

Open gameinfo.txt
And replace line 16 on:

" game |gameinfo_path|custom/hd "
(without quotes)

In the specified directory "hd" will be your textures. And you can publish the addon together with gameinfo.txt. (+Even if the downloader wants to abandon the textures, it will be enough to just delete the custom folder.)

Well thanks it work, i can see alot of problems i never had before lol, i suggest you delete it for the time i fix everything. I also realised i forgot to add their alpha channel so i will need to recompile them.

Okay, I also want to tell you. There was a problem with the decals. If you delete them, the situation will improve.
