The Masquerade is a detective adventure, with many evocative references to the film noir genre. The main pivot of our adventure is a murder and the resulting task – to uncover the guilty. The action takes place in the Outskirts of Vizima. There we will come across a caravan from Vengerberg – full of suspicious merchants, hearty dwarves, and a doppler, who in the locals’ opinion is nothing but a pain in the arse (guilty of all evil and deceit and of the murder as well).

You should try to compact the file with 7z. I did and the archive went from 636MB to 523MB.
Yes, 7z compresses better, but we wanted to use the format which is available out of the box in Windows and Mac OS X without installing external apps.
Hey I can't seem to get it right. I have followed the instructions and put the files where they should be but can't find the mod?
What's your OS? Could you copy the exact path(s) where you put the files and paste in your answer? So you click NEW GAME/New adventures and there are only seven adventures there and no "Masquerade"?

I put masquerade_1_1_1.adv to the folder
Public Documents\TheWitcher and z_zz_masquerade to C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\The Witcher Enhanced Edition\Data.
After that I open the game and press on NEW GAME and NEW ADVENTURES. NO MASQUERADE :(

Hello, I have a problem. I can't exit from alchemist house near the Maribor Gates. I see only the place of power and can't do anything. I had read that it was bug in version 1.1. But how can I continue to play on 1.1.1 version with previous saves? Is it possible?
