Will you implement this lightly-armoured variant in the game? Or the armor plates cannot be separated from the padding? Just because this look is great too! I could belive this soldier is more agile and nimble than his fully armored, but better protected counterpart.

Yes!

This is the less armored "undersuit" for vehicle crew and light infantry. The plated variant is for heavy infantry. Both will be in game and will have different variants too.

It looks cool but I actually find it strange that the body plates are more located on the belly than on the torso...
I think it's kind of a design flaw since it's more important to protect the breast (heart and lungs right under there)... Just wanted to point that out, I know you really pay attention and take care of your designs so...

Anyway it looks great !

The green plate? :D It actually is quite on the torso of the man inside. The suit kinda distorts the proportions.

Moddb.com

This picture shows it little better.

Also its not acually that much of armor but its main purpose is for mounting the heavier armor or other equipment on the wearer.

I think to properly distiquish its purpose I gotta make a lighter armor plate vest for light infantry use. Or I might add a little more on the topside.

Thanks for noticing though! Its purpose as interface plate does not really come out naturally.

Ah yeah, I forgot the head only fits about 2/3 of the helmet ! Then on the perspective you show it looks at the right place !

My bad :D

No problem! Glad I had a chance to explain it. However I have decided to go for the lighter infantry breastplate/vest to give the light infantry a tad more protection and also to separate their gear a little from the basic crew suit.

So 3 main variants: The "Undersuit", The Light infantry and the heavy armored set.

Another render to show that the bits under the armor work pretty well too!
