Lightsaber 4.0 is a Max Payne conversion into the Star Wars universe. Original levels were done by zephyrin_xirdal and StratonAce. HairlessWookie worked on some great particle effects, including lightsabers, laser cannons, and even force lightning. This mod also includes some aspect of Ken Y's Kung Fu mod for alot of the jumping moves / flips. It's amazing to see people still inquiring or posting about this mod given its age. Unfortunately, there are no plans for anything further. If anyone has any questions about the mod itself, I will do my best to answer them.

With the addition of new people helping on this mod, it was best to push the release date back a month or so to ensure that all of the coding will be ready as well as a couple new maps. With the addition of new people helping on this mod, it was best to push the release date back a month or so to ensure that all of the coding will be ready as well as a couple new maps. Lightsaber 4.0 will however only be a "demo" of sorts. Shortly after 4.0 is released, 5.0 will be worked on. This is where we will pull out all the stops to give the Max Payne engine a complete overhaul. We'll be adding space battles, speeder bike battles, and lightsaber dueling. These are some innovative things we feel good that will have a chance of working. The same stuff can be seen in Ken_Y's kung fu mod, in which the Max Payne engine does something it wasn't originally designed to do. I'm pretty sure that Star Wars wasn't something Remedy was thinking about when this game was implimented, so we are very excited about the progress we're making.
