The only good zed is a dead zed, so have some fun running them over and ramming them into walls, with the new vehicle mod by Braindead. Be careful not to run out of fuel though as you may be left stranded and surrounded by dangerous enemies, although you can purchase fuel at your nearest trader (at a hefty cost) Repair your vehicle with the new welder and carry on killing. First release will include the following vehicles: Police Car Assorted mini coopers Army Truck Forklift Truck Helicopter and will also contain the new weapons/tools Fuel Can Welder
Running the Husk Mutator in Blood Mountain creates a war torn feel of anti aircraft flak. We didn't last very long as once you get hit the helicopter loses control and you become an easy target for a further bruising.
How do they handle?
Handling has been compared to the Hunter Gunship in GTA San Andreas.
From first hand experience, I've found take off and landing to be incredibly smooth and responsive. There's no lurching and they hover steadily in one place if you let the controls go passive. In the map above I like to fly at a very low altitude at full speed. The map is big enough to prepare in advance for upcoming turns and the sense of speed from watching the terrain pass by underneath has moments of 'air wolf' all over it. I spent a good 30 minutes with Braindead testing out a weapon zoom feature yesterday and it was most therapeutic :)
