Interstate '76 take place in 1976, not 1976 that we could see... People try to survive in a world, devasted by a full-armed group of motorist. They plunder each fuel station, to obtain some oil, that become rare and invaluable. A team, named "La Vigilante" try to restore order on south road of United States of America.
Type of Games for the first beta version:
_Conquest (the Battlefield classic conquest)
_CTF: CTF like Battlefield one, but with gasoline in substitution of flag.
_Escorte: A fuel tanker (or another depending on the map) have to travel from A to B, the first team protect it, and the second team, have to kill the fuel tanker driver, to rob the gasoline and reach the C point.

Such a shame!!! This mod is totally awesome! I've tried differents versions as a tester...
Even if it wasn't finished the Open Beta was cool and original, but the Private Beta was wonderful: you were able to pop the vehicule you want. Feel like the original Interstate 76 when you choose mounted arsenal
The FireRite Rkt was cool, care to ammo shortage!
I dunno if final versions had localized damage.
I like the Is82 for bf42 but here... It is something way different with reallistic scenery and almost real vehicule handling (Thanks BF2), you were also able to ram loudely a Phaedra Coupe by a Moth Truck... Ouch!
The objects, effects designed are beautiful! You can't avoid the crapy interface of BF2 but here it is so nicely inspired by i76, InGame menu were awesome.
My only complain was the bug in AI script about 15 mins. I dunno anything in BF2 coding I would have helped if so :s
Seems that the dev team have splited more than once, explaining the absence of recent release.
I hope one day, we can have an i76 release with the quality level of FH2

This looks interesting, I guess in the tanker missions, it is basically just based on vehicles? Yeah I think this will work well, good luck.
