Ok, this whole thing started one night when I had a night-quil and 3 cups of coffee and things started to get weird. while this was happening got this weird idea that I thought would make a cool game. The story:- For the most part of the game you will spend your time in the dream world using weapons that are so weird and cool that they can only exist in dreams. Also you will still have your real world weapons but in the dream world they are twisted modded versions of what you had in the real world. Also your hands(actually an armband thingy) in certain dream levels (and a few real world levels) will grant you cool powers like warping parts of the level to let you get through passages that are blocked or other cool power that will blow your mind. ---------- Percent of Work Done:- -=-Weapons-=- Concepts=75% Concept Art=37% Models=6% Programming= 1% (We still need a coder!) I have come up with over 25 weapons for the game and I hope to get them all in the game. This whole train of thought came when I was playing a game were you lost all you weapons in the middle of it, and then got new weapons that looked convenitly just like the old ones. I have come up with over 25 weapons for the game and I hope to get them all in the game.
This whole train of thought came when I was playing a game were you lost all you weapons in the middle of it, and then got new weapons that looked convenitly just like the old ones. It always bothered me when this would happen in games. So when I was writing the script and saw that I had put in a part where you are taken captive and you lose you weapons, I knew that I did not want to do the one thing that always bothered me about most video games. So I then went and thought for about 1/2 a day about what weapons I could put in the game that would be new but not so far off from the first ones that people would have to rethink there whole 'game plan' for beating the game. They will however always be stronger, and/or faster than their older counterparts.
I have at this time about 1/2 of the concept art done and I will be slowly uploading it over the next week.
