We are happy to announce that after many years of development, IDF - Fight For Independence: V0.20 Beta 2 is ready for release! Please go to the download article for instructions on how to download and play the beta.
A major component of this beta version is the addition of the Jordanian Armed forces and the PLO army. Both new factions have a full compliment of unique vehicles and weapons. We added many maps depicting the Black September battles that were fought between Jordan and the PLO and also Syria. These battles are unique in that it involved Arab fighting against Arab and also that many of the battles took place in urban areas.
Another new feature of this beta is naval battles! We have a full compliment of naval vessels for the Egyptian and Israeli navies. We have a few naval battle maps. These maps are still a work in progress but they turned out really well so far and are very fun to play!
We also have a beta map pack that includes 30 maps with SP/COOP support!! Again please go to the download article to download the beta and the map pack.
We are looking for your feedback with the beta. This will help to improve the final release. So please send us your feedback about bugs and other things we can improve on. Thank you and enjoy

Also as another thing, all the flags and planes for this beta involving Egypt should have the UAR flags/symbols instead of the modern Egyptian symbols as Egypt was still under Nasser during the Attrition War and thus still the UAR, and Syria should have the three stars on their flag. It's a very minor thing but i think it would be better for immersion

Hi, one other bug I encountered just now.
When pressing E on the .50 cal tripod, I enter just fine. When I press E to exit after, it doesn't work and I end up having to suicide my character to escape from it. This doesn't happen with the DhSK so i think it's a bug specifically with the tripod .50 cal
