These are the three most current and complete SFC3 mods available. Players can choose from 4 (MirrorrorriM) to 8 (Typhon Pact & Typhon Pact: Borg Invasion) races to plays as within an expanded 30 x 50 galactic conquest campaign hex map. The settings for these mods follow the events of Star Trek: Nemesis and the Hobus star collapse by Species 8472, resulting in the creation of the Typhon Pact by the Romulan Empire and its allies; and continues on in the mirror universe featuring the Sphere Builders from Star Trek: Enterprise, the Voth from Star Trek: Voyager and prizes to claim from the once powerful Iconian Empire. The collapse of Terok Nor and the aftermath of a shattered universe pit powerful empires against one another. These hard hitting, winner take all Starfleet Command 3 (SFC3) mods are sure to please featuring new races, re-imagined ships and updated classics, new HD visuals, new sound effects and music, weaponry and much more. For Windows XP, 7 & 10.

If this is your first time downloading the mod (thank you, we hope you enjoy it!!), you do not need the a&A Collaborations MOD UPDATE V 2.0. Typhon Pact + Bonus V 6.0 Official Release: January 2020
IMPORTANT!!!
A note about Windows 10...
Some Windows 10 systems have been reported to have issues when attempting to install/run Starfleet Command 3 (SFC3) in the past year due to Windows 10 updates to the DirectX/System drivers. Exception errors and in game graphical display issues have been reported. The options below are provided as possible resolutions if you encounter such problems, so you may need to try each one until success. If you are unable to get the game to run properly, we recommend running the game on an older Windows platform (XP or 7). Links with instructions below.
Hot & Spicy Forums Option 1:
Before proceeding with mod installation, download and install the Taldren "534b patch" first and then the Starfleet Command 3 HD&Gamespy patch.** Both patches at link provided. You can skip this step if you currently have SFC3 successfully installed on your system or have a Windows 10 gaming computer with decent graphics card/processor; however, you will need the Taldren patch for our mods to operate correctly. We also recommend that you allow the game to run through the SFC Launcher, as it will auto-configure the Sfc.ini configuration file for proper full screen display resolution while playing missions. You will also need the .dll dynamic link file, it does not always install in the directory as it should for Windows 10. You can find the .dll file in the SFC3 Configuration Setup for Windows 10 link below.
If installation/play was a success, continue with the mod install.
Hot & Spicy Forums Option 2:
If not, try installing the dgVoodoo + reShade patch.
If installation/play was a success, continue with the mod install.
a&A Collaborations Option 3
**For Windows 10 gaming specific system platforms, you should not need the dgVoodoo files or HD&Gamespy patch. For other Windows 10 setups, this may be the best setup options as well. Follow the setup instructions for SFC3 Configuration Setup for Windows 10 V1.0. The required Taldren patch and dynamic link file (.dll) is provided with this download.
If installation/play was a success, continue with the mod install.
If none of the options above work for your system and/or you continue to have HUD/graphic display issues, we recommend installing a virtual drive and running an earlier version of Windows. Refer to our H&S Forums page: SFC3 for VMware Workstaton via XP... for setting up a VMware Workstation player and refer to the alternate Windows XP instructions (see below).
1. Open your Activision/Sfc3. Make a copy of the Sfc3 folder and archive as a back up. Make two additional copies of the folder and rename them "Sfc3Typhon" & "Sfc3Bonus". To make the copied folders faster, delete the Assets and MetaAssets as you'll be replacing these folders for the mod.
2. Open your Activision/Sfc3Typhon/sfc.
Scroll down to:

MapName=Map1.mvm
replace the map name with: MapName=TyphonPact V6.0.mvm
Save and close the file. Do the same for your Sfc3Bonus directory.
3. If you haven't already, delete the Assets & MetaAssets from your Sfc3Typhon & Sfc3Bonus directory. Replace them with the corresponding folders provided in this download.
4. Copy and replace the SFC3.EXE with the updated version in your Sfc3 directory.
5. Launch the mods via the SFCLauncher (Strongly Recommended).

PLAYING THE GAME:
Ship balancing: All ships are pre-set to fit the universe we created. Primary systems and weapons are locked out; however, special heavy weapons are available. We strongly recommend not altering game files to avoid exception errors or runtime errors.
Map and Race interaction: Depending on game quirks, you may be able to force non-aggression or ceasefires, but don’t count on it to last. AI may join you, but they have the option to leave you during a fight or in transit if their priorities trump yours, so pick your missions and course corrections wisely. Should you succeed in defeating a race (flipping all their hexes), you can eliminate them from the race roster by saving your game, exiting and then reloading the saved game.
Guile: Some missions will require exceptional skill, crew and specific ships to result in Astounding Victories. Defeats may cost you prestige but allow you to retain your ship. Devastating Defeats will cost you considerable prestige and forfeit your ship. Excessive Devastating Defeats may reduce the amount of riskier missions available to you and/or cause enemy AI to take advantage of your ineptitude and attempt a final solution by rapidly attacking your space.
Note: Some missions have win secrets and hidden bonuses for the player to figure out.
Not everyone gets a trophy: When playing as weaker empires, you will notice that your crew and ship building abilities are limited. As noted above, you cannot unlock ships or crew rank-up until your economy improves. Capturing planets and sectors are key to economic success. Empires nearing defeat will always forfeit production of smaller class vessels overall. This puts a strain on your resources, but without the option to purchase larger classes, you will ultimately succumb to enemy AI and be forced to surrender, ending the game. When your empire meets embedded expansion requirements, your planets and bases will start producing more available AI to crew ships and your bridge crew will begin to rank up as will you. This will happen faster for stronger economies.
Commanding the Fleet: If you lose your ship during a mission with other allies, the game may choose to continue the scenario and transfer you and crew to another vessel. To take control of your new vessel you’ll need to do the following: Activate RED ALERT. Click the "Esc" to pause the game. Click the "Esc" again to bring up the UI. Then click the "F3" to relock onto the target. Reactivate your long-range sensors and the game will continue with you in control of the new ship, but with that ship's bridge crew. If you succeed with the mission, you’ll be awarded prestige; however, you’ll lose your original ship and be charged negative prestige for the cost of the ship. You will not be allowed to keep the ship you transferred to while in mission.
Please note, you can elect to retreat during AI assisted missions, but make sure all your AI have left the sector before you do, otherwise the mission may not end forcing you to wait until the AI has concluded the battle. You can select ‘forfeit’ to end the mission, but it will cost you prestige.
Don’t underestimate shuttle/fighter craft: Beware the shuttle. On rare occasions, shuttles may slip next to your ship while your shields are down and deliver a critical strike to your ship. This is more common if you are in command of a large ship like the Borg Cube or Harvester. (MirrorrorriM only)
Happy Easter!: Unintended Easter eggs abound because of extending the game play parameters and getting the game to do what it was never intended to do for the sake of our mod and missions. If you experience a glitch, reload your saved game and it will correct the issue. Most of the time however, you’ll experience leftovers from SFC:II that Taldren never got around to finishing or removing. Some of these are pretty cool. For example, you may have the AI ask you for a cease fire or have ships from a previous mission follow you once you leave the mission hex to attack you in another hex. We noticed the Borg do this most often. ‘Suicide shuttles’ also may penetrate your shields and detonate on your hull during some offensive planetary or base missions. (MirrorrorriM only)
Confusing Mission Tags: Some custom missions (Convoy Escort) for example, may show “mission incomplete” when all objectives have been satisfied. Ignore the message. The exit briefing will provide you with the actual mission outcome and prestige.
Mission Glitches-
None reported.

Hi
Having the black window issue, it works in windowed mode, but not in non window mod. I followed the instructions, though I could have missed something?
Try setting up the compatibility for your game to run on Windows XP Service Pack 3. Set your screen resolution to 1024 x 768. Then if you followed the install instructions, run it for the first time through the launcher. If game plays in windowed, you should be able to click: Alt+Return and it will switch to full screen.
Also, when using the SFC Launcher make sure to check the "Windowed mode" option to correct the screen resolution. This will resize and correct for the blackscreen issue on Windows 10.
Warp Bug update: Hotandspicyforums.com
EDIT AUGUST 2020:
If you experience a warp bug issue, you can correct this by running the disc cleaner for your Windows 10 configuration. Check the "DirectX Shade Cache" and perform the task. Relaunch your game and your ship warp feature should return to normal.
So I have 3 folders. SFC3 Orig, SFC3Tyhpon and SFC3TyphonBonusV6. So the game and the HUD in SFC3 Orignal und SFCTyphoneBonusV6 works well but in SFC3Typhon in the HUD there is missing the upper top and lower bottom, so that you cant play, seems like an 16:9 error?
That is strange. I might attempt a reinstall to see if it corrects the problem. It's possible you missed a step or something got copied wrong. If you are able to play the Taldren game with the updated dgVoodoo + reShade and the Typhon Pact Bonus, you should be able to play the first part of the mod also (Typhon Pact). As a tip, be sure not to mix the two sections of the mod up when transferring to their directories; be sure you didn't accidentally transfer any part of the Bonus mod into the Typhon mod as this can cause major issues. Most likely, it sounds like a visual glitch on your system though. Try a reinstall of the Typhon Pact (prime) mod with a fresh copy from the Taldren directory that you made and let me know. If using the SFC Launcher, be sure to point the "client" to the Typhon Pact SFC3.EXE in your directory folder to play and NOT the Typhon Pact Bonus SFC3.EXE.
If it helps, send me a screenshot or video link to the H&S Forums page for this mod: Hotandspicyforums.com
Important update:
The 2019 SFC.EXE application was omitted by accident from the download. I will have a patch up here soon. However, you can find the 2019 SFC.EXE in the MirrorrorriM 3.5.1 mod. Download the mod and copy the EXE to your Typhon Pact + Bonus mod and into the Borg Invasion (If you have it installed). You will need this executable to activate mod/game changes and enhancements.
I heard SFC3 tends to be easy on difficulty. Does this mod affect AI or difficulty?
This mod works well it seems but only if you Don't install the included sfc3.Exe file. That causes Exception Violation errors.
Yes, the AI has been adjusted to respond more aggressively to players on each difficulty setting. Ship availability and crew rank-up has also been corrected from the original Taldren settings.
See notations on the MirrorrorriM mod with regard to the issue you are having with the SFC3.EXE. Updated versions will be released for each mod sometime this year. The summary page for our mods will have updates, etc. as we make them.
Work on Typhon Pact V 7.0 has begun. Realistically, won't probably be available for download until next year.
Youtu.be
Defiant upgraded defensive and hull systems. Can now launch sequential mines...but even with upgrades, don't get cocky with Species 8742.
Your instructions to install this mod are absolutely atrocious and i had to figure out how to install the mod by myself (mostly). Who wrote your instructions? A child or someone who just started learning English as a second language? They look almost illiterate. And that is not an insult, btw.
And this part:
"2. Open your Activision/Sfc3Typhon/sfc.
Scroll down to:
[Meta]
Name=
Password=
MapName=Map1.mvm
replace the map name with: MapName=TyphonPact V6.0.mvm
Save and close the file. Do the same for your Sfc3Bonus directory."
Makes absolutely no sense at all until you realize it was supposed to have .ini on that sentence.
And what is the difference between Typhon and the TyphonBonus folders? Again...no explanation at all. Absolutely ridiculous. What am I supposed to do? Figure out which one is which and what they're supposed to do????? Please explain this.
By far the most incomprehensible set of installation instructions I've ever encountered. Why are your instructions being written by an illiterate? And I'm saying that not as an insult. In the future...make sure they are written properly, and not a total disaster these are. If I can't comprehend the installation instructions for a mod, I don't even bother trying to install it if it requires a way to install it that's not the normal way. Which is why I almost decided not to waste my time trying to play this mod for the first time. I'm here to play mods...not waste 3 hours of my time installing a mod only for it to fail because I can't read gibberish.
And please don't take this the wrong way, but the instructions are the worst I've run across.
