The world of organized crime is extremely dangerous, but can often be quite rewarding. You will join a crime syndicate and face off against members of rival crime organizations. You will find yourself in various highly detailed urban environments engaging in many underhanded tasks to satisfy the needs of your boss. The initial release of HiT-SQUAD will feature the Italian and Russian crime syndicates. Future releases may add the Yakuza, Irish Mob, and other crime organizations.

I know, the gun IS real, and will look very similar when 2 people model it, but with closer looking.. The switches are in the same place. I maybe wrong, but ripping things is a newbie trick, and it would give the mod a bad name. So for their sake. I hope its original.

So I suppose any mod that has an M4 stole it from Counter-Strike eh? This model was created by us using Lightwave 3D. I looked at that specialists model and despite the obvious similarities, they are nothing alike. The gun ejection port on their model is on the wrong side. The hinge mechanism on the back of the gun is completely different. Also the shape of their main body is much more squarish than ours.

Even the common newb that doesn't have your exceptional eye for detail can obviously see these are two completely different models.

Being the modler I feel that I at least have to put in my $0.02:

I make my own models.

Their might be some folks out there that feel they need to rip off other people's work, but we have a higher work standard here. Besides, look at how much I would have had to edit to make their model look like mine. It would take less time to create it from scratch than it would to modify their's.
