Error 1.
"Server is enforcing consistency for this file : models\player\american_rocket.mdl "
The solution is simple, and a warning is in the readme of the installer.
Erase all files and folders in your C:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\LOGIN\day of defeat source/dod/models/player et dod/materials/models/player
If you want to play with player skins, the only compatible server I know is Funarena.
Error 2.
On dod strand, I get horrible scriiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiik noise.
Solution. I didn't experience this bug, if you do erase the C:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\LOGIN\day of defeat source\dod\sound\ambient
Error 3
On game launch, I get a dark screen.
This is due to a Valve recent dods update.
Go to your C:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\LOGIN\day of defeat source\dod folder, and delete the \shaders folder.
New version 1.87 is compatible with these updates
