In "The Hidden", players choose the role of either a near invisible killer, Subject 617, or one member of an Intercept squad who have to capture him, I.R.I.S. In the simple but challenging gameplay of an 'one against all'? mode, Subject 617 creeps/sneaks through the maps armed only with a knife and three pipe bombs. The IRIS team carry a selection of weaponry, fully customisable at round start, from F2000 assault rifles through to shotguns or sub machine guns as well as a pistol as a secondary weapon. However, they can hardly see Subject 617 as, just like the 'Predator', only the outline of his silhouette is visible. On top of that the Hidden also moves a little faster and has many abilites such as pouncing, wall grabbing, corpse pinning and the fatal pigsticker attack. Therefore co-operation is necessary for I.R.I.S. if they wish to prevail (if they dont want to become the prey/victim themselves). So you are all anticipating a Friday release for Beta2? Have no fear, we are on track for that date and the whole package is looking cracking if I do say so myself. To whet your appetites for Release Day I've slapped a little video together today showing off the levels, some of the stuff thats possible in Beta2, as well as just some plain cool looking scenes.

You can head on over to the Media section of the main site to download it or click here if you are lazy. Another reason to go snoop out the media page is the addition of another level to the ranks, HDN_Highrise. Its as sweet as the rest, so go check it out.

In other news, with Rag Doll Kung Fu just around the corner the Art team discovered that you can put your own custom characters in there, so we have made up 617 and some of the IRIS team, a sort of "Hidden Kung Fu" if you like. The downloads for that will be made available shortly after RDKF on Wednesday, so look out for that too. All in all we are on track for Friday and its gonna be a good'un, so get ready...
