No tragic deaths or anything of thw sort. We've just been busy. Fury is busy dodging hurricanes, I'm trying to pull my life together (as I've been told, to un**** myself) and Plat's . . . well . . . Plat. I'm never quite sure what he does, but he does it often. :)
I'm sure he's all over the PR side of this, but, truth be told, work is slow.
And, I guess this shan't hurt too much . . . We've hit a stumbling block in our plans. See, I'm back on dial-up, which isn't bad until you realize I'm poor, and as such I can afford a software modem (currently taking up about 1/2 my CPU time) or I can use my old ISA modems or my 9600 baud external. As you can see, none of these really interest me. This doesn't matter much until you realize this means I can't test with Fury. We had a small batch of code running that started glitching in multi-player. I can't see why, as it's all based off of standard UT, but we ended up not using our Gear player models.
If anyone knows why this happened (it's very possible we just screwed up something in configs or files we swapped) drop me a line.
And if anyone wants to help with the coding, we've got someone on the line, but I've got enough work for ten people, and that's BEFORE you fix what I wrote.
And if we get some more coding, we can do an Alpha. And if we can do an Alpha, we can try to test to do a Beta. Now, sing for your supper!
