Greetings hl1 mod fans.
I finally with great joy at heart can announce that Release 1 is finished and posted in the appropriate section. Now absolutely anyone can try out this modification.
Now moving on to what has been done in the mod compared to the original version of 2003. I will not list everything, full changelog will be on the page with the modification, as well as in the archive. So, the main differences in the mod:
- Redesign and update all models (this and fix/change textures, UV and meshes).
- Full translation of the text into English, both for the HUD, and on textures where there is text.
- New weapon animations (based on work from MTB and a couple of works made by LIL-PIF).
- Changes in the engine and the code of the mod with bug fixes, as well as for changes related to future updates.
- Update some Wad textures.
- Reworking the HUD (but in Release 2 will be another redesign of the interface)
- And many other changes in modification.

I would like to clarify one point, as stated in the previous news, Release 1 will do without English voice acting, because Dakashi did not finish it yet, but as he assured me that we have to wait a little longer, as soon as it will finish and send the files, I immediately release a patch, where in addition to fixes will be more and the voice acting.
After some time passes from the release of the mod, I'll publish a news story about Release 2, which will report further plans for the project.
I would also like to report that from now on, our team of mod developers, now has a name, namely: "Satchel Team". And perhaps in the future we will do another mod, only time will tell.

When i saw that, i couldn't feel anything else other than joy, one of my favorite Half Life mods, getting a rework and its first part just released.

No improvement about mapping ? I mean a better mapping work structure to get something more detail and modern for a 2023 hl MOD ?

Sorry to hear that. I know that I would gladly lend a hand if I had the time. I'm sure you'll have no trouble finding a mapper to help out, though finding an experienced one with free time is a bit more tricky. :P
That's the problem, you can't find a free mapper with good experience these days.

Gargantua boss fight is bugged, doesn't get killed after running into the blades.
Same. Even the door that leads to Core Level D closes so fast that I cannot reach it in time. I had to use Noclip for this, but this needs some fixing immediately.
