You are Jim, a bicycle courier who was in a crash and was put in a coma. Meanwhile, a group of animal rights activists release infected chimpanzees from the Cambridge research facility in Manchester, because of this the virus spreads across Manchester but because of all the fires that broke down during the outbreak and because there's no fire crew to stop the fires, the infected ran away into different cities in England and decimated England in a matter of weeks. The military blockades were overrun and when they tried to evacuate the cities it was already too late, the infection was everywhere. Now there's no government, no police, no army, no tv, no radio and no electricity. Then, 28 days later after the initial outbreak Jim wakes up from a coma and slowly finds out what's going on. Jim then goes on a quest to find his parents.
Hey guys! I know a lot of you were expecting an update any time on how the mod is going and so far its not so good. Well where do I start well first off we had planned to have companion's from the movie come along with you because if we didn't add something the mod would just be shooting zombies over and over again and that's not fun. But sadly we could not get the companion's to work properly and they more of a nuisance than anything. Also if we were going to do this mod we needed the maps to be big and I think we all know how GoldSrc pairs with big maps. So we can't have 2 main things we have to have and so we're stuck. So sadly me and Lost Tapes are stopping work on the mod. Anybody is free to pick it up just DM me on discord. We apologize for any disappointment.
You didn' have to kill the mod for that, decently sized open maps can work even on the regular engine, browse some city DM maps and you'll see what I mean.
well a few things if anyone wants the mod they can pick it up on the discord right now I think someone has picked it up already not only that but I feel CS left do to him having a lot of work and maybe just a non interested in the mod and I left cuz if CS leaves I cant work on the mod by myself. I am truly sorry for leaving the project I was happy when we got it but I hope the mod keeps getting worked on.
You could try Xash engine, it supports extremely large maps.
Very sad to see all the work wasted for nothing (unless someone will pick up the mod).

Damn shame, could have sufficed for Xash but that also could have resulted in it's own unique problems.
