Half Life 2 Racing is a mod using only Half Life 2 models and weapons to make a fast-paced and exciting racing/combat game. Players race around the tracks or open levels and battle out or race, the choice is yours. Cars can become damaged, lose parts, and eventually useless (I.E loose all your wheels). There will be different car classes varying from broken down tow trucks to soda machines. Weapons range from rocket launchers to mines to suicide bombings. The choice is yours, choose your car, start your engine, and blast (or haul ass) away!

After some work I have the online vehicle code working and the first vehicle!

I have not been around lately but after awhile I'm proud to announce that I have the online drive-able vehicle code working and the first vehicle done. I plan on having more screen shots with some other vehicles soon so check back frequently! The level you see in the current screen shots is a old one I was using for testing and wont be used. So without further ado, here are the beginnings of Half Life 2 Racing! Enjoy :D

P.S I really need a coder whos decent in C++ to help program the weapon system, if you are interested email me at psychaosx@hotmail.com !

P.P.S  If anyone is interested on making their own HL2 car game I wrote a tutorial on how to make the code work :D  enjoy!

Jurassic Rage released a working MP vehicle code for Source into the public domain years ago - I suspecrt its since been lost. Nice to see someone took up the ardeous task =].

Why don´t u stick to the people of hl rally source ?

This might be a base that could be used for many mods nice work !

I don't get it? i thought the modders already had a vehicle netcode AKA the one in garrys mod?
