GTW is a massive, full conversion mod for WC3. GTW will seek to totally revamp WC3 gameplay with strong design and modernized systems. GTW will have physics, dynamic accuracy, crawling, shield bonuses, and much more in terms of combat systems. GTW will also have a brand new resource system and neutral system, as well as some other new systems, all of which compliment the strong design. GTW will feature 8 all new factions, each of which will have its own style, and all will feel very different. Some will focus on guerilla combat, while others will focus on traditional combat, and while still others will focus on other forms of combat. GTW will also feature three, full campaigns, singleplayer and multiplayer melee, as well as singleplayer and multiplayer custom. WC3 has survived as long as it has because of custom maps, and GTW will not forget this. GTW will actually come with numerous GTW versions of popular Bnet maps. GTW version? Well, it's been awhile since we've put a true update out. However, I felt it's time to issue one. Why? Because for the first time in awhile, things are actually looking up for GTW. Do we have anything at the moment to show? No, nothing refined enough, but we've got plenty of WIP

Well, it's been awhile since we've put a true update out. However, I felt it's time to issue one. Why? Because for the first time in awhile, things are actually looking up for GTW. Do we have anything at the moment to show? No, nothing refined enough, but we've got plenty of WIP stuff that you'll be seeing soon. More or less, at the moment we're going through a period of reorgnization. Numerous areas are experiencing this reorganization. First, we're more or less taking stock of the current team, and getting communication back to where it was before the Anvil incident. We did "lose" one member from that, but he seems to be more or less busy with real life, so it's quite possible we may have lost him anyway. The lost member is Madman. Communication with him since has been fleeting, but at times it seemed strong enough that he may have still been an asset. Finally, we have realized it's just better to cut the thin line there. In recent months, Sunny has begun some skinning, and thus he is now the logical choice to fill the role left by Madman- Sunny_D will texture our buildings and doodads. With that now in mind, he and Morpheus can now work synergistically to great benefit and progress. Another area of reorganization deals with myself. Though most of the design has remained relatively in tact from the start of the mod, my design abilities and experience have expanded greatly. Design-wise, I'm surprised and actually happy that much of my initial designs have survived. However, organization is also another major and necessary skill of a designer, and I have grown greatly in that area, and thus I am reoganizing much of my information into formats that are more easily navigable, and that will be more accessible to team members. We're also waiting upon SA's reformation, as we will gain FTP access at the completion of that. I have also reinitiated contact with PurplePoot, who has gotten MSN Messenger, which will make contact much easier, and will allow us to make far greater progress in the area of coding than before. Jigrael is also working on some animation, and between these two new developments, we will most-likely be able to begin showcasing some more in-game footage. We hope to have the physics system fully functioning soon.

Thus, we don't have much to show for now, but we are making progress, and we hope to have a lot to show in the near future. As soon as we do, we'll make a general news post that we hope will be on the front page here, and that's when you'll know GTW is back in full swing =)

So, things are progressing, in nearly all areas. Perhaps not as much progress as we'd like, but it is a massive task, and we are but a few. We are still accepting aide of any kind. Even if you only want to do one or two models, we'd be more than glad for the aide. The areas that we could really use some help in at the moment are animation and modeling of all kinds.
