GTW is a massive, full conversion mod for WC3. GTW will seek to totally revamp WC3 gameplay with strong design and modernized systems. GTW will have physics, dynamic accuracy, crawling, shield bonuses, and much more in terms of combat systems. GTW will also have a brand new resource system and neutral system, as well as some other new systems, all of which compliment the strong design. GTW will feature 8 all new factions, each of which will have its own style, and all will feel very different. Some will focus on guerilla combat, while others will focus on traditional combat, and while still others will focus on other forms of combat. Our newest member (the talented JASSer/coder Zergleb) has brought cause for us to re-examine our initial dynamic accuracy system. We had thought that we were bringing the most realistic accuracy system to WC3 that we possibly could. However, we were wrong. We had initially thought that to integrate a more realistic system would be to integrate lag as well. Lag is unacceptable. However, Zergleb noted that we can do this without incurring lag. Thus, we have reinvented the dynamic accuracy system. The new system proves to seems to be more likely to be in a predecessor to Company of Heroes rather than a WC3 mod. Picture an archer as he lines up his target, which is running to the right. The archer aims his bow to the right of the target, moving it as the target moves. He looks down the shaft of the arrow to ensure his aim is true. He then lets fly with the arrow. However, the target stops abruptly, and the arrow misses. However, the target stopped to avoid colliding with an ally. The arrow continues on its trajectory, and strikes the ally instead of the target. Enter GTW's realistic dynamic accuracy system. Read more about it from my post on our forums- Realistic Dynamic Accuracy Description

Also, as always, I've brought some eye candy with me too =) Today I've got two models which you may have seen previously, but outfitted with some stylish new weapons. I also bring you the Elven Scout, a brand new model and skin. You can also check out our gallery to check out images of our WIP Stromgarde structures (we're currerntly reworking the textures, making some slight modifications to the models, and adding team color). With the project moving in full-swing again, I'm sure I'll have more to report soon, so stay tuned!
